About Mary Carol Williams
Hi! I am Mary Carol Williams (1952-2018) - a self taught artist that has been painting for over 10 years now. Truly before this time I never painted yet now I can't stop. I am spontaneous and Childlike but I am convinced that everyone needs to find their way to express themselves and not repress it. I love color and my subjects are many. I seem to follow in the vein of Moses Tollivar, Grandma Moses, Clementine Hunter and the like-all finding their way when they were older and with a freedom to enjoy and handle what may come at them. I believe very strongly in God and know that without Him this daily joy would not occur. I hope to bring you a smile, I love everyday! I have sold over 2000 original drawings/paintings and many artworks...

Don-You could not have made me happier as when I read your comment. I love to paint and express in my colorful manner. It is like a drive I cannot stop OR want to stop. As long as I find something to work on canvas, panel, paper-I must get a thought or feeling out. Best of all in EVERYTHING you enjoy! Mary Carol

I just looked at more than a few of your paintings and have to say that for someone with no formal training, your eye for color and movement and spirit is absolutely superb. Bravo to you, Mary Carol, and may you add your art to life for a hundred years.
