Artist's Description
Since I am a steelworker's daughter, grandaughter, niece, sister etc., steel plant thoughts catch my attention. Today I saw a painting of Pittsburg, Pa and the smoke stacks reminded me of a trip I made many years ago through that city. This city was filled with mills, soot and smoke as our country grew and steel was in demand. I had to paint my thoughts. Mary Carol
About Mary Carol Williams
Hi! I am Mary Carol Williams (1952-2018) - a self taught artist that has been painting for over 10 years now. Truly before this time I never painted yet now I can't stop. I am spontaneous and Childlike but I am convinced that everyone needs to find their way to express themselves and not repress it. I love color and my subjects are many. I believe very strongly in God and know that without Him this daily joy would not occur. I hope to bring you a smile, I love everyday! I have sold over 2000 original drawings/paintings and many artworks...
